What does “Secretitos” mean?
Secretitos means little secrets — the things we carry quietly inside us.
The feelings we don’t always say out loud.
The thoughts we keep to ourselves because we don’t want to be a bother.
(You’re not a bother, by the way.)
This collection is about giving those secretitos somewhere to go — into your hands, into your making, into something tangible. Creating can be a way of letting things out gently, without having to explain them.
What’s in the Secretitos Collection?
Fabric — chosen to be felt, moved, and created with.
For Meztli’s first fabric collection, I chose three very different textiles — each one tactile, expressive, and full of possibility. My hope is that they spark something in you.
And if they do, I’d love to see what you create.
Why fabric?
Here’s the truth: fabric has always been part of my life.
My dad spent his entire career in the fabric industry. A few years ago, he tried to start his own fabric company — and it didn’t work out. The business ended, but the fabric stayed.
For a long time, it sat stored away, unused, waiting.
This collection is about bringing those materials back into the light — giving them purpose again.
Because just like us, they were never meant to stay hidden forever. At Meztli, every project is about more than the product.
It’s about healing something we thought was lost.
